Williams Sound Pocketalker 2.0 Patient Communication Kit

The Williams Sound Pocketalker 2.0 Patient Communication Kit is purpose-built for healthcare provider-to-patient communication in clinical environments, including clinic visits, hospital rooms, and senior living facilities. It is ADA compliant and includes everything needed to support clear, low-friction communication with patients who have difficulty hearing, without requiring any prior setup or staff training.

The kit is built around the Pocketalker 2.0 personal amplifier, which delivers up to 63dB of gain with tone and left/right balance controls. The included MIC 014-R plug-in no-cord microphone allows the provider to place the microphone close to their mouth during conversation without a cable between them and the patient, keeping the interaction natural and unencumbered. The omnidirectional internal microphone handles ambient pickup when the plug-in mic is not in use.

The Pocketalker 2.0 functions as a T-Coil receiver in looped environments, allowing patients with T-Coil hearing aids to receive audio directly through their aids when a neckloop is connected. It works equally well with or without hearing aids, and the included stereo headphones cover a broad range of patient needs out of the box.

Infection control is addressed through two included consumable packs: 100 disposable sanitary headphone covers and 100 sanitary microphone covers, both available separately for ongoing replenishment. The WCA 007 wall-mount cable with mounting clips allows the device to be stationed at a fixed clinical workstation when needed, and the system carrying case keeps all components organized for mobile use across patient rooms. The optional Rechargeable Battery Kit can convert the device to rechargeable operation for facilities that prefer to eliminate disposable batteries.
