ADCO Hearing Products is Proud to Announce We Are Now a Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
After many decades of learning, evolving and becoming a trusted resource for clinical audiology products and assisted listening devices, ADCO Hearing Products is proud to open a new chapter in its long and storied history. In doing so, we’re opening the door to providing improved services and connecting with more or our valued customers and friends in this community.
As of August 18th, 2015, ADCO Hearing Products has been verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). By supporting ADCO, you’re helping us support Veterans throughout the United States – and the many organizations they rely on. As a team we are dedicated to the mission of serving this community and finding new ways to provide support and education.
A Note from ADCO’s President and Owner, Abby Armijo
To Our Friends and Partners:
To say that I am proud to have received this designation is a vast understatement. Although my time in the US Army was short, it provided the foundation for everything I have achieved in my life since. The men and women serving this country deserve every ounce of respect possible. Since my last day in active duty I’ve been striving to find a new way to reconnect with those who are serving, or have served, this country. In fact, my decision to purchase ADCO was heavily influenced by the pre-existing connection to the VA clinics and hospitals. Our SDVOSB designation presents a wonderful opportunity to build new, stronger relationships with these institutions and the Veterans they serve.
In addition to my background in the military, ADCO is also a majority Woman-Owned business – another group that I’m proud to be a part of. The business leaders and entrepreneurial women out there providing inspiration and guidance to the younger generations is inspiring. To be a part of this community, and have new opportunities to show that together we truly can achieve great things, is nothing short of remarkable.
Many people are unaware of the amazing history of ADCO Hearing Products, and for those interested I encourage you to read our History page to learn more. Yet this latest evolution wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the third, and arguably most important, piece of ADCO’s new history: we are 100% family owned. My business partner, mentor and father-in-law Jim Guiffre has made everything in this letter possible by simply believing in me and our joint vision to take ADCO to new heights alongside each of you.
As you read this, please know that your support of ADCO runs much deeper than simply choosing us as a leader in this industry. You are supporting a family-owned, woman-owned and veteran-owned vision to better the lives of everyone in our community.
Thank you for your support.
